Children of Novena to X'Yog'Thoth This is acceptable. We shall send Gaul-vo-dan to meet with you on the edge of our forest. Children of Novena to Kristalin This sounds fine to me. We accept your trade agreement and also accept your offer to see your new town. We shall send Vera to do so.

Ferra. We may have gone further than expected of us... My loyalty has not yet been wavering, I assure you of that. How I deal with my allies is of my concern.
If I'm making a mistake then let it be one that I can learn from in the future. However thank you for pointing out the flaws, maybe this won't be a mistake after all.

Cerrak to Kristalin Money. A great deal of money. As well as a few defensive and offensive spells of my creation. Oh, and would you send an emissary to Cerra? I want to make sure we understand each other. I'll have my General Legius meet whoever you send to Cerra.

Ferra. Yes, we can provide a few golems. (OOC: I'm selling them for + economy for two dozen.)

There is actually something you could help me with. I am researching a way to block magic, preferably over large areas. Your expertise in magic would surely help push this to completion within a much shorter span of time. Well, normally I would not turn down such an interesting offer, but there is a problem: Kristialin. He has warned the C'tis that you are hiring assassins, which means that their security will be higher.

Cerrak to Ferra I'll take two dozen golems, if I can be sure they will be completely loyal to me, and myself alone. If you can teach me to create powerful golems of my own, I'll throw in more money (OOC: +++ economy for two dozen loyal-to-me golems, and all you know about golem-making)
They're far stronger then even regiments of mortal troops, I gather? Any weaknesses I should know about?

Ferra. You can buy them from me, however I can't give you the secrets of how to make them.
Yes, they're definately stronger than normal soldiers. However they aren't that intelligent, which can cause a few hardships.
As far as loyalty goes, I'll make sure that they are yours - and yours only.

Children of Noveria Greetings! It's nice to see another peer from the ancient age returned.
As we share a rather close border, I'd like to discuss the possibilities of a treaty of non-aggression and friend-ship between our followers, so that both of us can keep some peace of mind. Interested?

@ odin I'm pretty supicous of Cerrak right now so TJ will teleport away at the first sign of trouble and tabs will be kept on the location of his forces.

@ Sayb The current gate won't stop the building of a new one. Imperial CityThe Imperial solders trickle in just as Rowe is shouting about how Alquinas should have taken his objections through the proper channels instead of killing a half dozen men. They see the bodies of the several impaled men along with Rowe's glowing hands and the undead fanatics, and stop in their tracks. A pair of the dead men have a change of heart and attempt to attack Rowe. Another seeing his compatriots try to attack a holy man tries to stop him, and the guards try to stop them. Rowe makes several more attempts to kill Alquinas as Cerrak's missionaries arrive on the scene. The whole situation turns into a giant fracas, the dead are fighting each other and whoever appears to be near by. The missionaries are attacking whoever appears to be threatening Alquinas, and Rowe is attempting to fry anything vaguely related to Cerrak. At some point a few concerned citizens, a mob of pilgrims, a hand full of more undead and a troop of mummers get pulled in to the chaos. The fighting is only stopped when an entire century of garrisoned troops arrives. In the chaos, both Rowe and Alquinas are severely injured, several of Cerrak's missionaries, a dozen soldiers, all of the undead, and almost two dozen citizens are killed. Alquinas, Rowe, most of Cerrak's missionaries and a pair of shifty-looking men in dark robes are all in custody and under guard inside the governor's place. The Governor of the Imperial City, a overweight balding man by the name of Trupis, has yet to call anyone into his chambers of pass any judgments on those taken into custody. @rational No problem. It's "Cerra's finest wizard" against "A mage of no small renown." so I figured it could go either way. @ Surly In case the post wasn't clear enough, two of your necromancers have been taken into custody following the fracas.
Umberto to Cerrak Rowe is a personal friend of mine. If what you say is true, then the Counsel may be even more unstable then I had first thought.
Have no fear, I'll gather some loyal troops and be in the capital in a fortnight. I'll see to the matter personally.
Umberto to Kristialin If what you say is true then this is a rare gift indeed.
However, given that we've not had perfect relations in the past, how can I be sure? What if the crystal explodes when I say "I can handle the truth?" or summons a horde of demons or some other such nastiness?
If I can't have it examined, I have to rely entirely on your word. And not to slight you, but I'm not sure that we can trust one another.
Hoburg to Kristialin If worst comes to worst your help would be greatly appreciated.

Kristialin to Umberto The orb will perform exactly as promised but it is fair point nonethless. Though there are a couple solutions that come to mind. You could force a prisoner to use the orb in your place if your worried, or I can have one of my followers use the orb in your place. However I would need your guarantee that no one would harm him and that he would be released after the orb is used. Kristialin to Shapers I have been foolish in not contacting you sooner. I would like to invite you or a represenative to Martivir for a meeting if possible.

Then keep the work up as if there wasn't another gate. Since the other one doesn't seem to function properly, mine shouldn't have any problems. Still, I'm hoping that my research into building my own gate will make it easier for me to control the other one. (OOC: Sorry, forgot to answer about half of your previous message.)
As for reducing the damage on the Veil, you could always stop using necromancy. It is, after all, that which is wounding the Veil. Excellent. Then here's your information: The undead are created by Nazhedria. They were originally pilgrims on the way to the capital which were then assassinated and brought back as undead. What, one may wonder, is the reason for these actions? Ah, if one only knew. I would guess that it is the first step in a kind of invasion or infiltration. Perhaps both. It is wonderfully intriguing, though, is it not?
