Ottomans to Estor We have more then adequate access to mercenaries at the moment, thank you, ones that do not require us to surrender our sovereignty.

SingaporeEspionage: +++- To JapanI am pleased to here that we share a mutual concern on European expansionism. Due to recent events, I believe it is fair to say that there will be a war betwetween the BEIC and China.
At this point in time it seems far too early to choose a side in this conflict, though I will admit readily that I see little to gain and much to lose if my good neighbor to the west suddenly becomes my neighbor to the north as well. When the British send their fleet to force China's hand, it wil be unlikely that they can fight a two front war. Dare I say that if they send too much of their fleet, they may not be able to stop any civil unrest within their own domain.
Regardless of all else, I feel it is important that their blue eyes stay focused on China, and China alone.

Ling Zexu: Law enforcement retainer... call it the standard military contract. It's a good deal for them, really. Egypt: Excellent. We will send our soldiers to Istanbul immediately. Ottomans: Excellent. We will send our soldiers to the Levant immediately.

Brass Barony of Estor We accept your gracious offer, and would be honored to share our medical advances with you. A technological exchange would benefit both our peoples. May this be the first step in a long and productive diplomatic relationship.
Japan We are always happy to pursue new trading relationships, and would be happy to enter into a trading agreement with the great nation of Japan. However, we regret to inform you we will be unable to share our medical technology at this time. Perhaps this can be changed in the future, but for the moment your request is impossible. We’re sorry about this, would still like to pursue trade with the people of Japan.
Switzerland While your offer is….interesting, we will have to decline. It could be interpreted by some of our more zealous Knights as a form of blackmail, which could damage future relationships between our two nations. We are open to negotiations in the future, however.

To the People of Scotland We happily agree to a alliance between our nations. May we each flourish! To the Great Nation of Iceland I believe that a vacation is in order. Care to join me in Scotland? To the Wonderful Peoples Of Mexico I would help if only I could. However, should you ever need help with something I can deal with more directly, say information, I will be glad to help

Kingdom of SwedenTo Brass Barony We shall act right away, then. We might gain some outside help aswell. The Swiss are your call, but we won't be paying for them.
The other part of the agreement also acted out right away. If we move quickly enough, we can get ready for the future. There are a few nations around which may help us with the other matters. To Japan All right. I have a feeling there'll be some business to deal with in continental Europe before, so go ahead and prepare in the meanwhile. I would advise against using too much resources in the Sino-British conflict yet, however. To Iceland All right, it's a go. You'll start, so they're drawn out.

Empire of Japan - Esp. ++++ A technological and military exchange would be most beneficial for both of us, I think. Especially in these perilous times.
And we do have a son, though his hand in marriage is still not available due to his age. However, we do have a daughter of the right age. Well, China seems preoccupied with the BEIC for now. However, one could argue that they might be forced into a loose alliance with Russia to fight us off. That would not be very good at all. Ah, how unfortunate. But nevertheless, we shall trade with you.

Kingdom of SwedenTo France Of course, this is entirely agreeable. It is likely that the Baltic Sea will soon be rather open for Swedes, so French troops protecting their interests in their sphere of influence, and of course once time comes maybe in Prussia, would be very effective in putting them between the hammer and the anvil. If this is too direct, a 'loan' of some naval firepower for coastal bombardment, under Swedish flag if necessary, would also be appreciated. Enough control over the searoutes would really spell trouble for the enemy. To Austria The Swedish Pomerania has a centuries-old culture with traditions of both German and Swedish origin. They will, of course, be granted more autonomy and rights, but the process right now is unfortunately gradual for the reason of certain threatening presences in the diplomatic landscape around the Baltic Sea. If such trouble were to soon lessen, the progress in Pomerania would of course be sped up. While any indirect assistance in the matter would be appreciated, Sweden is hoping to keep the peace we fought so hard to achieve so we are hoping that things won't take any turns for the worse.
However, the threat of anarchy and the rule of the mob is worse than the disputes of legitimate rulers, which will surely be civilly resolved. This is why we need to root out the conspiracists. To GM Swedish navy and army gets ready to move on a moment's notice. I still wish to know more of Denmark.

IrelandTo The Fantastic Nation Sweden How are you doing on this fine day, neighbor? I was wondering what your plans may be, and how I can help. We could both prosper greatly, even without the exotic goods of faraway lands flowing into each others ports. To Gm I would like to know more about the surrounding countries. Namely the Formerly Great Britian. second, the Irish navy (what little there is) is poised on the western coast of Britian, and the Green Bandits (Irish army) are preparing for war.

Kingdom of SwedenTo Ireland Our nation has some diplomatic difficulties with certain peoples to the south and east of us, so trading partners who aren't in either of these directions would be very welcome, don't you think?

Singapore (espionage 3.5) Internal Affairs King Wangba Dan of Singapore stood, overlooking the harbor form his modest palace (at least modest compared to other around the world). The Lady approached him in her resplendent, low-class beauty, such a wonderful combination in one woman!
"You called for me King?"
"I did. I want you to set things in motion to expand our navy?"
"Do you expect war?"
"Yes."
"Soon?"
"Possibly."
"I thought you wanted Japan to fight the British for you, sandwich them between China and Japan?"
"Ideally yes, but we cannot depend on Japan. I mean, they even act like Europeans at times, trying to emulate them. No, we should be prepared to fight ourselves in case they prove unreliable."
"Even if we doubled our navy, it wouldn't make up for their technological advantage."
"Do you recall the battle at Red Cliff?"
"Everyone this side of the Indian Ocean knows of it."
"Exactly, the Europeans are unaware that we in the "East" also know how to fight against the odds. Expand our navy to 150% of what it is now. I want the new ships am mixture of fast, swift boats that are meant to harass larger ships, not sink them, along with a couple dozen fire ships. The Europeans are like giant children Lady. Left to their own devices they will play with an ant hill, crushing ants as they please, kicking dirt over the mound. However, once an ant bites them, they go home running to their mother."
"You intend to bite them then?"
"Enough times that they never approach an ant hill again."
