We will accept this agreement. We are glad to hear that at least someone over there has some composure. Thank you, the help would be appreciated.

Summer of Year 1 of the New CalanderIt was a busy winter with the Zoar Settlements expanding and joining up with many other survivors nearby, the Citidal of the Sun begining construction of a new base in the ruins of New York, The Empire of Hood conquring with words and if necessary force the settlements between it and Mississipi. Polaria draws up ambitious plans to begin constuction of new biodomes. On the seas more trade opened up as the Great Fleet began to travel from nation to nation carrying goods. In China the wars open up with a new ferocity with each group hoping to unite the once great nation before outside involvment decides the outcome. All around the world trade agreements and alliances are made both in secret and public. To Deadhunter A no to an alliance but yes to trading Great Fleet to Polaria This is inefficient but acceptable for now, if you would set up a sea base then we would be able to trade with more ease

To all who wish to apply. There is going to be a festival at the Citadel of Revolution in what is formerly new york city. The Iron Lords have already been invited as our guests of Honor, as our new neighbors. Everyone else is invited, transportation can be provided. their will be games of all sorts, as well as demonstrations of combat styles from across the world. Come one come all, inquire at your local citadel for information on transportation.

Iron Lords
In a tent on the long trek to New York, Burnside sits and rubs his temples as he studies a map. Outside the tent Cornwall, grand master of the Redemptionists, clears his throat.
Burnside looks up. "Come in."
"You wished to see me."
Burnside scowls at Cornwall, "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
Cornwall looks confused. The High Lord quickly clarifies. "What the hell did you think you were doing on the border to the Republic? Do you realize that you could have started a war?"
Cornwall becomes flushed and returns the scowl. "So what? The Republic is week, and decadent. Filled with backsliders, heretics and scum. We have a moral obligation to cleanse them for the good of humanity."
Burnside leaps to his feet and practically explodes. "SO WHAT?!! There a hundred other communities and principalities that are as bad or worse! Why not pick on them? I'm not ready to commit to a full scale war just because you say so. I swear to god, I'll have your head if you ever do something that stupid again, do you hear me?!"
Cornwall screams back. "If I die, it's doing the lords work! Even if I die another of my order will take my place and the lords work will be done."
Burnside spits back, "Your order. I've got half a mind to disband your order. It has to much sway as it is, and I could buy quite a few new bikes if all your chapter houses where liquidated to fill the councils coffers. "
Cornwall pales for the first time. "You wouldn't dare."
Burnside smiles back. "Try me."
After a brief staring match, Cornwall is the first to look away.
Burnside returns to his seat and his map. "Get out of my sight."
Message to The Empire of Hood
I must confess, the creation of a new denomination is starling. Isn't now the time to unite the people not tear people apart because of religious differences? Even the Iron Lords allow freedom of religion. A government dictated church is very, un-American, if you'll pardon the term.
Unless if would be to much of a imposition I'd like very much to discuss the matter with your theologians.
Concerned Friend,
Nathan Schmidt

Polaria to Iron Lords We wish to attend and to observe the event but we are not well enough acquainted to be a participant in your events. However we wish to take advantage of this event to allow ourselves to learn more about the other nations and possibly improve our relaions with one another.

To all Nations asking to attend, come on in. You will either need to bring your own food, or send a smaller amount of people. We can provide shelter and protection, as well as transportation for those who do not have the ability to either navigate themselves there or the ships to do so. Also weapons will be confiscated from larger parties. Safety ya'h know. The Zoar settlements, we will accept these people. We have slots for about 15 people.

The Zoar SettlementsThe leader of one of the Germanic settlements in the most valuable lands in the middle of Zoar, Herman Brandt, was pacing around restlessly. Then he glanced at the two others present in the room. "Rebuilding is costly, but it's going rather well and it'll help us in the long term. And the data indicates we're farther from a crisis than previously thought. But still, there's no time for celebration now."A woman sitting calmly on a chair nearby laughs. "Oh don't be like that. Any reason to celebrate is a good reason in these times." "As long as you don't forget that nothing will happen without a lot of work. But I must go send the messages now."To Chinese: A message is sent to Zao, containing intel on several schemes against both his nation and him personally along with important tactical data. "A little gift from us to solidify our fledgling relationship." To Nile: We wish to thank you for the help, it has proven very useful. How are your efforts going? We could see if there were other mutually beneficial deals between us to negotiate. To Athens: The rebuilding efforts are proceeding according to plan on our end. We've also managed to form working diplomatic relations with almost all the groups between us, so work shouldn't be disrupted by groups of raiders and such anymore. What are your opinions on where to concentrate our efforts next? To Iron Lords: A document arrives, containing evidence on several incidents with the Hood's military forcibly taking over the settlements near Mississippi. "This, and the new 'religion' they are preaching, are very worrying to us. You're the closest major power in the area, and we would like to know if you intend to interfere, and if so, in what way? To Polaria: Straight to the point: We have certain prototypes and schematics of pre-cataclysm optical camouflage technology. We would like to co-develop them into an effective optical cloaking system with you, if you agree. To Japan: Would you be willing to open up trade relations? We have sufficient airship capability for pretty fast transportation, avoiding the war-torn Chinese areas. We would also be willing to offer help for the rebuilding.

Polaria to Zoar Settlements Yes we agree to this. We've been considering looking into advancing these technologies as well.

Central park is awash with bodies and music, lights from old building powered by older generators give the area a dim milky glow late into the night. Old hotels have been renovated for guests of the Citadel. The citadel itself is still under construction, though the outer walls are finished. Inside the officials of the Iron Lords and the Citadel of the sun make their temporary homes. Contests of strength are dominated by the Deathknights, while jousting is dominated by the Bikers from the Iron lords. The freed mutants of the Amazon tie with the Vultures of the Citadels in free running. The great fleets ply their trade and finish first in the Regattas in the river. The survivors of Japan finish second in the Regattas, and first in many of the sparring matches. Other games line the once abandoned streets, giving those who do not compete something to do. It is truly a wonderful place to be for the week it is in operation. Behind closed doors the various leaders are brought together for a private party. Sir Roderich stands up offering a toast. "Gentle men, I propose a toast to our various nations. We have all competed admirably in these contests of strength and wit. Now, I think it is a good time to talk business." "We have shown you our strengths, and you have shown us yours. It has brought us together as, perhaps not as brothers, but genetically estranged cousins." He chuckles at this joke. "I propose we continue these competitions, this tournament, every few years, as our forefathers did before the cataclysm. Each year, a different country will host the fair, in hopes it shall bring all countries closer to peace." "In the spirit of these future games, we also propose an alliance, between all our nations. This alliance, both economic and Military, shall be in the effort to better the lives of all our people, and defeat the intentions of those who would conquer the world for their own twisted purposes. This is, of course, completely optional."
