Seriously, we've made this forum, and all we've had are different-era/different setting Total Wars. So how about going back to the basics, how about some Total War 2125?
We don't even have to use the same background plot as the first. Besides, the newbies (you know who you are) can catch the old guard getting all nostalgic about the "good old days" when the rules were loose, the carnage was epic, and the characters were positively mythic! ;D
So I propose we at least think about starting up a newbie 2125 game. I refuse to be the GM though, I'm no good at being an all-powerful manipulator (as I'm sure the Ascension Wars guys have heard me complain), and I work best at being a player.

I'd be down.
Especially if we get Moral to GM. ;D

I would also be interested.
Though, I'll be clear, I will not use Han (any of them) in this game. I need to develop someone new.

Maybe the Chinese-Mongolian "Celestial Empire of Spring and Autumn" I never got to try? And JJ, I'll talk to Moral. He doesn't much like the format of this forum, but I'll see what I can do.

A reboot sounds awesome. I remember I actually tried to make an entry for the original, but the game started before I posted it. I was going to play as the Republic of Iberia, with the power-hungry Juan "El Leon" Belasko as dictator Prime Minister, and totally wanted to ally with the New Roman Empire. But of course, I've recycled those ideas through different games, so now I'll have to think up something new, shant I?

Alright, oldbies, Moral says he will NOT, repeat NOT, ever GM in this forum. He despises it's format, and says that both Giant in the Playground forums and Myth-Weavers have better tools for gaming.
He also says that he'd prefer Myth-Weavers to anything else, for it's specialized tools (private threads, private text, etc) and larger PM limits. Sees Giantitp as a compromise.
Plus, he might not even have the time to GM, even if we do choose Myth-Weavers.
But on the other hand, Moral is a great GM, and is very fair. And Odin, JJ and Sayn (the other proven GMs we have) have their own games to look after.
So yeah. Are you guys willing to go off-site?

'Proven' for me... eh. I'd give that to Sayn.
That said, I would play on Myth Weavers to play with Moral again. Then we'd have to track down the other Wiz, and then our favorite LUSAn leader, seeing as we also picked longvin up.

You did last the longest out of any of the failed GMs, and did give a good effort. Anyways, I'll relay that we have most of the old guard (and quite a few skilled newbies) to Moral. See if that helps at all.

Well, while I would have loved to play a game like this, I just don't have any ideas for a nation. At all. And I don't feel like I have it in me to commit to be the GM at the moment, or I would have started up the "Holy Roman Empire"-idea. Anyways, I don't see why we must confine ourselves to this forum. Yeah, other sites are better at playing games on. Although, to be fair, this forum really has most of the stuff you need for a TW game. And it is free.

As long as we link, and/or try to bring new people back to the 'hub' we should be fine.

I can probably work on another site if necessary. Preferrably gitp for already knowing how it works and visiting it regularly but I could attempt to learn all the fancy Myth-Weavers stuff.
