Indeed. I'm starting to get the energy to try this once more, however. So keep an eye out the coming week or so. No guarantees, of course, but just maybe I'll start this up again.

Just to throw it out there, my 'nation' is going to be a defense driven nation- think Gondor.

I was thinking of making a nation that was more military based nation, zero navy though. I'll specialize in land battles.

If you decide to go ahead with it, could you provide an example or two of NPC nations to get a feel for the world. That why, I can consider whether my nation needs teaking, or needs to be changed or not.

Yeah, if I do start this up again I will be providing much more detail to the world and the magic in it. I already have an idea of how I want it to be.

If you do start this up again, I think I'll actually make a nation this time. Perhaps religiously fanatical Viking types? Or sorcerous alchemist-merchants who only want to be left in peace to trade?

If you do start this up again, I would like to put foward a nation.
Name: House Illunia Government Type: Heirachical Council History: House Illunia was discovered roughly thrity years ago, and has the distinction of being the first prospective new state that joined the empire through military surrender before said empire was aware of their existence. The Illunians are mountain folk, dwelling inside a medium-size mountain referred to as the Citadel. Space considerations meant that population rapidly became an issue, but due to the unusual state of the culture, the only population control that resulted was a ruthless intercine war. This went on for centuries, ending around ten years before they were discovered by the empire. At this point only one of the dozen-odd competing houses remained: House Illunia. Gven another decade or so, House Illunia would likely have subdivided and began the warring again. House Illunia has had an iintresting relationship with magic. All Illunians have an uncanny ability to control divination directed at them, being able to alter its readings with ease. However, they have only just learnt that their are other forms of magic, and gave up the study of divination long ago, due to the fact it was near useless. House Illunia is yet to produce a home-grown magician. Strengths: - Surperb Spies: Hose Illunia has spies everywhere. This is what they do. - Excellent army: House Illunia has been fighting for centuries. They have a highly experienced, disiplined, and well armed fighting force. Weaknesses: - Distrust of Magic: House Illunia has no magical force behind it at all. - Navy? What is a "Na-vie"? A few years ago, House Illunia brought a rowing boat into the Citadel. This is the extent of their navy, and they don't actually know where said rowing boat is.
