(in response to the C'tis 'I'm not evil, just surviving woe is me BS')
"Evil because in doing so you enslaved others, and evil because you cannot decide if you treat human slaves better or worse than your own, and seem willing to change that information as the argument flows." (In response to your and his 'he isn't discriminating, he works his own people too' and then the C'tis saying he doesn't enslave his own. Just pot shotting at hypocrisy because, as Wanderer said earlier, he doesn't give a fig if the evil is human on C'tis, C'tis on human, or fratricidal) "And I obey no laws but this, that I will protect my own and my own will do the same for each other." (Wanderer watches over travelers, nomads, the lost and enslaved etc. etc. Those that follow his creed look out for each other as well) "There is your transcendent law." (That's his one rule.) "You ask me to look at order?" (In response to C'tis 'I enslave but I keep people in line, prevent chaos') "I see the king of Jouppon, dear old Nazhedria, the slaves dying in these swamps and the Cult gone off its rocker." (Examples of 'bad' order, C'tis included) "I too see the Imperial Army doing its best and the statue of Hoburg protecting its people." (But some order is okay.) "Good can be or not, but order is power and power is whatever its wielder wills." (Wanderer cares about good, which is separate from order. Order is a tool to enact good or evil as the ruler powers decide.) "I do not enslave my own C'tis, nor will I ever do the same to yours, or any others. And there is my line." (Wanderer futher explaining how he is more good than C'tis, who equates 'I don't enslave my own, though I do it to humans' as 'good.' Wanderer explains why this isn't good enough.)
"And yeah, I'm a dead man come back, but see here, I am a change, and intend to change what needs changing. I am reborn in faith, as they say." (C'tis makes jibe about Wanderer himself being a reborn entity, ergo not a change ergo... C'tis okay? Wanderer says no, he only just stepped into powerful role (w/fall of big P), not only that, is force of good, does not need to change.)
The Wanderer turns to Kristialin. "His old ghosts? I think not." (C'tis and dead priests not change: regression and retrenchment to further evil) "You're lying to me, or to yourself." (If you really fight for change/against Nazhedria, you'll think that undead priest kings a bad idea. Either you are delusional or not really for change.) "Oh, and again stop bringing up the Nazhedria like they're my problem to deal with." (Seriously, not my allies.) "I'm not the one who tried to buy up all their supplies." (... anymore than they are the C'tis) "And there's my reason for going in, because I know this thing here considers the death of thousands nothing next to his own 'survival,' the resurrection of some dead priest kings... worth the death." (Wanderer wants to go in and prevent C'tis, who call killing thousands to unearth dead priests 'fighting for survival,' from using powerful Nazhedria magic. Because letting bad people use powerful necromantic spells is a bad idea.) "You think he fights for survival?" (Who the hell was threatening him? Wanderer? Not until he started enslaving/killing) "Then he's lying to you as well. He fights for the big man's throne, like half the trash out there." (His (big Whitey over there) ultimate goal: complete and total godhood. He won't just stop and let you civilize his culture, should be stopped now.) "I have that on good authority." (No really, he's not just stopping at survival, Wanderer have very good sources on this) "I cannot let him gain more power, no matter how many sideways threats you make." (Nice of you to threaten hostages... not helping your case here.) "This is a war, I know that killing is involved." (Wanderer willing to take relative few deaths now to end this quickly.) "But since I know whose side you've chosen, I'll walk away with the demands I gave earlier." (You're not a neutral power anymore, fine.) "Every slave freed, dead or alive. Food and medicine and clear passage out." (Demands, this is the important bit.) "And you get to watch them" (C'tis) "Kristialin, and if they so much as move one iota out of line you have three days to show up and stop them before I consider you and every one of your cells complicit." (If the C'tis do anything bad you have to step in and stop it or the Wanderer goes to war with you and the C'tis.)
"'We wouldn't execute them out of hand.'" (Quoting you here.) The Wanderer says, in a pitch perfect reconstruction of the dragon's own voice, (like really actually quoting) then spits. (Your words dirty his mouth.) "The wind will remember that, Kristialin." (That line did not go over well with the Wanderer.)
