Suffice to say you are not in a position to make threats against the Company, all things considered. Now let's be polite, shall we?
As for the vote? Very well, though we were initially of the impression you were suing for peace. In your calculations, please keep in mind the Company's earlier offer--and try not to be so...foolish with the information, this time. We're still willing to going out of our way to give you a good deal, if you'll just work with us on this. Everyone can still walk away from this mess as a winner.
Gentlemen, due to the ceasefire, we would like to put our request for assistance on hatius. We will still happily sell you arms and war materials at a premium if you wish, however.

Zurich Conference The Hospitaller representative addresses the IU representative. "Let's get one thing out of the way. We don't trust you. Your ambitions for a 'united' Italy are clear, and we don't doubt that if you had the power you would kill many tp satisfy your warped quest for power.
That said, the world is a volatile place right now, and if we can't show a united Italy, we can at least show an Italy not consumed with infighting and petty bickering. We are willing to enter negotiations for the items that you have brought to the table.

BEIC I apologize, I am in an unfamiliar position. Not only is the Englishman across from me not shooting at me, but he is willing to go out of his way to make me a "Winner". That is a very different tune from the one sung two and a half years ago. That tune had far more gunfire.

To BEIC: As a show of goodwill, our intel and communications with a few acquaintances in Iceland point towards the Irish not aiming to keep this ceasefire for much longer. Our assistance will be ready to head to Britain as according to the agreement whenever events point as such.

Estor Declares Alliance with Sweden
By the powers I hold as Baron of Estor, I hereby proclaim a treaty of Alliance between the Barony and the Kingdom of Sweden. We will defend our Swedish brothers rights as a Sovereign Kingdom, and will bind our forces to them in war, so that any force that seeks to crush one of us shall face both nations. Furthermore, in war and in peace we shall be united; even now both Sweden and Estor enjoy the benefits of the Sound Toll, seized from the perfidious Danes.
Regards to All, Baron August von Estor

Swiss to all: Current bids on the Swiss forces stand at standard rates. Act now! Neat pamphlets are printed and passed around to monarchs, heads of state, and their wives and their children. It shows people fleeing a room with hands over their mouth while behind them people can be seen coughing and flailing and dying. Inside it simply reads: "The world is a dangerous place. Hire the Swiss Guard today!" Zurich If we are all in accordance then, might we sign a treaty to codify our agreement?

We understand your opinions, and respect them. I think a treaty would be agreeable.

Zurich Conference:I propose at least three items.
Non aggression pact Trade Agreement Mutual defense pact
The details can be hammered out later, but these items can be the framework for our treaty.
Any objections or ideas you want added?

Japan
The ships of the Avalonian Empire finally arrive at Japanese shores. It appears that they have gone through hell, but the four warships are not only still finctioning, but downright majestic. They signal their wish to come to port.

Empire of Japan
They are allowed to dock, and are given some time to rest up before the continuation of their business in Japan. (OOC: My way of saying "let's wait until the next turn since it's just around the corner".)

1841, and what a year it is! Europe is afire with war and intrigue! The Irish call a cease fire to take a vote on how the people feel about war. The unanimously agree to continue the war, even the isle of man has a support rate of 25%. EIC ships are sighted off the coast of France, around the time a dragon is sighted in the Baltic! It's first victim was a fishing ship as it feel breathing fire from the sky in the night! since it has been blamed for missing livestock south of Denmark. The danish king has been found in a most compromising position! His entrails were pulled from his body as his skin was hung from the flag pole on his palace! There is no sign of the perpetrator! AN Irish group has rebelled, claiming the Burn's is a Britt loving hippy, taking a ship with them after a minor firefight with both the British and Irish forces. There has been a bounty issued. They also claimed resposiblity for the attack on the peace conference. The king of Avalonia has died, to much shock and sadness. His son takes over now. Bolivia claims that Argentina is recruiting soldiers through force, by going into villages and forcing citizens to join them. Tensions boil as opium smugglers in the triads are caught every few weeks in china. They suspect someone, and voice their concerns to anyone who will listen. Ireland You have successfully captured Hall and Grimsby, cities on the eastern coats of Britain. Unfortunately because of British activity a messenger ship was unable to reach them during the ceasefire. Brass Barony We are sorry to say Duke Konrad von Wettin has died in his sleep. His lands are yours. Argentina A Bolivian city has turned to your cause. Singapore and Japan The Chinese thank you both for your warnings. EIC Your men have encountered little resistance in local tribes, though the French were not so happy to see you.
