Cirig:
The O'Terran representative to the Conclave is Conri's younger brother Shamus. Which makes him both very young, rather handsome, and infected with dreams of glory and fame. The kid is willing to talk shop but after a few moments it becomes clear he's never flown a fighter in combat, and concerned more with the aesthetics of the crafts he flies. Soon the Paitakes representative, a level headed girl who introduces herself as Persephone, shows up. She is presumably there to prevent any diplomatic incidents, but she seems interested enough in the conversation, as if on the edge of saying something.

Conclave (Oh, and I guess House Varulf voted for the passing of the proposal and demise of Basudan.)
Conclave - To IESC
"I'm here to ask your preferences for the arrangement of said meeting, which will be done by the Varulf at a time and place which hopefully suits both of us."
Etras Shipyards (Fluff text)
Tras was leaning on a piece of metal in his suit, momentarily ceasing his work to look as the huge form of the largest House yards slowly slid open it's gates. As something that large moved, Tras's brain still, after so many years, felt it had to be linked with the sound of screeching metal and chains, even though everything actually happened in an eerie silence.
From within, the newest carrier of the Fleet slowly emerged. Currently titled just VNC 0734, it would be given it's official name by whoever was granted the esteemed task of captaining it. Lately, the House yards and factories had been busy with projects like this.
Unlike in many other cultures, Varulf docks didn't have any special celebrations for something as magnificent to be finished. The workers on the project got some free time and a cash bonus. There would be a bit of celebration in the naming of the vessel, but that was all. Still, for Tras, just seeing the massive frame of the thing float past (accompanied by an imaginary booming of the engines) was enough. After a moment, he turned back to his work. Maybe he wasn't working on a carrier, but without supplies they would just float around uselessly anyway.

Meeting Between IESC and Clamin When the represenative's ship lands they are greeted by Captain Frakin and his admisitrative aide. After guiding them to his office he invites the represenative to sit before taking his own seat. "Now before we start is there anything my aide can get you?"

House Vargulf- IESC The aide nods "The IESC is very flexible with meeting arrangements. A time and place is up to you, but if you would prefer to meet with a board member video conference is usually your best bet". Clamin The representative is none other than Board Member Austin Reynolds. The man is an older gentleman with silvering blond hair and a clean cut dark blue suit. He came with only a pair of aides of his own. He sits, and declines the offer. "No sir, I believe I am fine for the moment"
He sits back "I hear you have a buisness proposal for us?"

To IESC "Very well. Basically the Clamin are intrested in Node technology. Our priority is to be able to choose a destination for a new Node instead of the current random jumps thoughout the universe. There are also some other projects that we would like to work on but this one is the most important. Would the IESC be able to help us in developing this?" Captian Frakin says bluntly getting straight to the point.

Conclave - Varulf to IESC
"All right. We will arrange a private discussion from the diplomatic vessel of the House nearby, Naali, using the Varulf secure communication protocols tonight at 2200 local time, if that is okay with you."

(Cirig votes to dissolve Basudan). The Conclave - IESCAkilina nods. "Pure business, of course. That's not an issue. Also, I'd like to have a few words in private, using our encryption, on another business matter."Cirig to IESC There is a plot against the Ashera Corporation, by some very powerful and very competent actors. You can either warn them, or divest yourselves of your investments in them to avoid losses. We're fine with either choice, but tell us which you're going with. The Conclave - House O'TerraDespite his advisors' wishes, Boroslav Khan meets with Shamus O'Terra in person. After some idle chit-chat, the Khan concludes "But anyway, to work. Your forces are, with the exception of ours, the best fighter pilots on the Network. We have much to learn from each other. We would like to hold joint training exercises."

Conclave- O'Terra and the Khan
The young man opens his mouth- to take offense, perhaps at this backwards barbarian, no true Houseman, rating his likewise scruffy pilots better than his own, or perhaps to exclaim joy and wonder at the generosity displayed, and so ruin his bargaining position- but the girl lays her hand upon his arm. "The gesture is well made sir, and well met. I must clear this with my father, and he through his liege, but provisionally I can extend acceptance."

The ConclaveWist Morn moved among the other house representatives with ease. After having spent just under sixty years in the Conclave, even being the representative before she gained the title of Matriarch, there were few who matched her understanding of the Conclave's layouts and happenings. She was bored, even a falling House was not enough to keep her interested. So, she decided to indulge herself with the time old Onclave practice of demeaning insults to her rivals. She found her way to the representatives of the Aurea, the Golden City. "Ah, Basil Heroklos. It is interesting to see the respected representatives of the Golden City proud over the falling of poor House Basuda. After all, Basuda fell since they no longer hold any territory, a weakness that the two of you almost share." Fleet BlackBlessed Son Maldis sat on his throne orbitting a dead satellite, on a dead planet, in a dead system. He was on baord the cpaital ship Lucida, a Morn Conqueror Ships named after his currently favored consort. He looked young for his age age, though he was by no means a oyuthful man. Less cruel than Asch, and less callous than Bancahr, he still had his own weakness, rage. The recent years of peace were eating away at his like a disease, and each day saw him grow more and more likely to act out of line. "This is a job for one of the titleless royalty. Why does the Patriarch leave me here with half our fleet in the distant corner of our holdings?" "Because he fears you my lord. He knows your swift hand and strong snese of justice will spoil his slow, monotonous plans." Maldus's advisor bowed lowed to finish off his string of flattery and lies. "Still, it had better be worth the amount of resources we've put into this operation." OOC When do you want our EOT PM?

Can I do that? Cirig We cannot help you directly in this endeavor, as we need to stay apart from conflict. However, if there is anything logistically or in a support capacity, we could offer that. For a reduced fee of course.

Turn Two... STARTThis is Alexander Gold, SSN. This hour's top headlines; the war in House O'Terra's territories continues. With House Basudan stripped by the Conclave of its legitimacy, many Basudan captains have surrendered their ships, accepting a general amnesty. The remainder of the Basudan family and their loyalists have fled to Ross 128, a dead system remarkable only in it's close absolute proximity to Sol. In previous generations Basudan prepared the system as a bolt-hole and it is believed that it will take several years to root them out, though they no longer present much of a serious threat to O'Terra holdings. Meanwhile, House Grenora has accepted the Basudan system as their fief without incident and have been sworn into the Conclave.
Pandora Corp. has released a new line of luxury-Aruna Solanki flicked a bit of food at his sister. Hey, I was watching that.Meanwhile, on board the O'Terran ship Home on the Hills.Persephone Paitakes tapped her command board. "Watch your fire Six. Eight, tighten up and follow Nine. We're in end-stage now, so no risks. Force preservation is key.""Aww c'mon you Paitaken hardass, can't we have some fun? It's a training mission, no harm no foul.""And I got a unit kill ratio record to preserve. Take your time."This battle had gone well for the O'Terrans. A reserve wing had been held until the Cirig fighters went back to rearm. That advantage and the some lucky shots of simulated coilgun fire on the upper left quadrant of the O'Terra battlesquare (circle really, but whatever) had tipped the battle their way and from there it had been a slow grind to victory. Cirig only: RP-wise, if you want your commanders on the same boat that the O'Terrans are on that's fine.
Militarily speaking your discoveries are as follows: 1. You've both got exceptionally good pilots, and on both sides there are a lot of combat vets. However, their pilots are a little more predictable than yours: they've been fighting what more or less used to be comrades and have been training against each other for a very long time. Your pilots have been flying against everyone and are so separate that there's lots of room for new techniques to develop. Some aren't as good as other's, but they are different. 2. Fighting fighter swarm on fighter swarm is very different than fighter swarm on 'normal' fleet. It's very key to jump out ahead early. 3. If there's one thing the O'Terran forces had that you didn't it was discipline and cross squad communications and planing. Every pilot of theirs was on board with the grand plan and knew their part in it, and the squad leaders, like Persephone were able to communicate and organize improvisations. Your forces on the other hand, fought as individual clans. They were able to not shoot each other, but more than that, it was hard to get them working together.
Grey: Not yet, and your techies are stretched to the limit as is.
