Looks better then what I would do. Unless someone else feels like fighting you for the job it looks like it's yours.

So, odin, I'm guessing you've also played Dominions? Anyways, I'd recommend just taking a Dominions 3 map and modifying it to be suitable. I'd enjoy playing this, it would be a great idea, but I would name the Mass Appeal trait "Dominion". Also, would this be LA, MA, or EA?

So, odin, I'm guessing you've also played Dominions? I've been found out!!! How'd you guess? You missed me on the last bit. MA like Mature Audiences?

Nonono, since this game is obviously in the style of Dominions, I was wondering if it'd be an Early Age style (more magic, less steel/tech), Middle Age style, or Late Age style?

It depends on the players. If everyone plays a "magic pwnzors" type nation then it'll probably play more like EA.

I like the idea of my nation being one step ahead of the world in tech... for obvious reasons.

Hey, you get magic OR tech, not both!

Ah, but knowledge goes both ways.

nonsense, for all we know magic could be an entirely holistic, personal experience. Or random.

Well, what about using magic to forge the tech, therefore making the tech magic?

In other words... Magitek?

In other words... Magitek? Kind of, but not. I.E., you could classify Zeus's thunderbolt as relatively advanced technology, right? A never-missing, instantly lethal missile that was created by mythology's greatest engineer; Vulcan/Hephaestus and/or the Cyclops. Clearly, it's advanced technology in a way. Yet, it is clearly not Magitek either. It was forged by what is clearly magical power, but it's still advanced technology, if you think about it. Oh no, I'm repeating myself, aren't I? But you get the gist of it, yes?

More advanced in what way? Are you looking for something specific?
Clockwork constructs would be roughly the same as iron golem or other consturcts.
Remember the factions have only existed for a few months.
Also I'm thinking about adding a few oriental styled NPC factions to give the game a feel of a wider scope. What do you guys think?

I would be fine with oriental-style factions, and I can probably guess which kind of factions they will be. ;D
